Green Line Running Day - Bus Rally24 February

The event based at the Railway's North Weald Station will feature routes operating to local towns and villages. Our regular route 339 will also run connecting Epping Underground station with North Weald at regular intervals. 

Vehicles

Vehicles from the following classes are expected to be running in service: RT, RF, CRL, RCL, RP, SMA plus XF1 and possibly a surprise or two!

Special Guest Vehicles - we are delighted to welcome some special guest vehicles to the event:

• T499, with thanks to Ensign, will run a limited number of trips in service; 
• TF77 with thanks to the London Transport Museum and friends of the LT museum, will be on display; and
• RT 3232 will be in service, again with thanks to Ensign.

Pop Up Shop - EFE Buses

A special Pop Up shop will be open at North Weald Station selling new and second hand EFE London buses. We have probably the largest selection of London buses in the world at competitive prices - so bring your 'wants' list.

Also on sale at the Popup Shop and at the Gift Shop will be London themed new and second hand bus books, DVDs and other related bus merchandise.

Routes

The following routes will be operated: 

• 718: North Weald - Wake Arms - Chingford Station
• 720: North Weald - Harlow - Harlow Town Station
• 724: North Weald - Wake Arms - Theydon Bois
• W: North Weald - Ongar Garage

Passengers may intercahnge between routes 718 and 724 at Wake Arms. 

Timetable

The timetable for the trains and 339 bus service can be found here. Route 339 will be operated by Green Line RTs and, hopefully, XF1

The times for the additional bus routes being operated together with vehicle allocations can be downloaded here. Keep an eye out here or on our social media pages for details of vehicles shown as TBC. 

There will also be a photographers bus to a mystery location where suitable vehciles can be seen in a scenic location. This will leave North Weald at 12.30.

Fares

Kids for a quid fares apply today, giving unlimited travel on all trains and buses (including the additional routes) all day.
Adult £14; Concession £13; Child £1. Select "All Day Rover" from the options below.

If you do not want to travel on the trains, our popular "bus only" rover is also available priced at £10. This will allow travel on all of our additional bus services and our route 339 buses linking Epping Underground and North Weald stations.
