Steam returns to the Epping Ongar Railway this August Bank Holiday weekend!

On Friday to Monday, 28 to 31 August we will be running short steam hauled shuttle trips from North Weald. These will be available at no additional charge for holders of any ticket for our diesel services on the relevant day.

Steam shuttle services depart North Weald at 1045, 1115, 1200, 1230, 1315, 1345, 1430, 1500, 1545 and 1615. Each trip lasts approximately 20 minutes, so do allow extra time at North Weald if you would like a ride on this train.

The train will use one of our compartment coaches consisting of 7 compartments, and capacity will be strictly limited to one household group per compartment on a first come first served basis.
